The starting signal for a new chapter

There is great excitement at the Messepark in the run-up to Christmas. The building permit for the new Messepark has been officially granted. The final contracts were signed this morning at Dornbirn Town Hall. The Messepark NEU generational project can now get underway, confirms owner representative Guntram Drexel. Construction of the €200 million project will begin in spring 2026, and shopping will continue uninterrupted during the construction period.

“We are very relieved that the building permit has now been issued. Only now can the decisive final steps for the construction work begin,” explains Guntram Drexel. “Without approval, our hands were tied in many respects. The project submitted in June 2025 was carefully coordinated with the city of Dornbirn and the federal of Vorarlberg. We are now working intensively to ensure that the planned start of construction after Easter 2026 can be met.”

There is great excitement at Messepark about the imminent start of construction. Information about new shopping opportunities during the construction phases will be provided in early 2026.
